Catherine is a writer/illustrator/actor at Nickelodeon. She graduated from USC’s Film School in animation. She earned YoungArts Cinematic Arts and Visual Arts Honorable Mentions from 2014 to 2016, and was a finalist in the Nick Writer’s Program in 2024. Her short film "Yuan Yuan and the Hollow Monster," about her family in Hurricane Katrina, became a Student Academy Semi-finalist and won Best Animation at Animation Block Party in 2020. The film tells the story of a young girl’s brave effort to save her pet turtle during a hurricane.

Catherine aims to inspire positive qualities in children through her stories. Her scripts feature characters who face challenges with courage and integrity, promoting values of goodness and responsibility.

Previously, Catherine directed a mobile game that helps older kids and adults see the world with a childlike perspective, showcased at the USC Games Expo in 2019. Her projects mix creativity, humor, and a bit of moodiness, inspiring children to practice kindness, care for the environment, and maintain a hopeful view. Through her work, she seeks to create role models who show goodness and influence young audiences effectively.

Catherine has illustrated five children's books focusing on caring for the environment and kindness. Supported by PNC Bank and Palm Beach State College, these books—"The Ooey Gooey Footprint," "Hello Tree, It’s Me," "Vanna Banana," "Turtles Tale," and "Smores my Fat Guinea Pig"—cover themes like carbon footprints, native trees, shelter dogs, sea turtles, and joy.
